Abstract

In Uzbek family values, the upbringing of a girl is regarded not only as a reflection of the family’s spirituality but also as a mirror of society as a whole. Since ancient times, a girl has been viewed as the honor of the family, the educator of future generations, and the bearer of national traditions. Therefore, the issue of raising girls has developed in close connection with the socio-cultural processes of various historical periods. This article analyzes the historical roots of the culture of girl upbringing, its ethnological and ethnographic characteristics, as well as its evolution in the modern era.
