ABOUT ALISHER NAVOI’S ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF WAQF OWNERSHIP

Abstract

The article analyzes Alisher Navoi’s activities in waqf ownership, his role in state administration, and its socio-economic significance. It highlights Navoi’s contribution to the construction of madrasas, khanqahs, mosques, gardens, and infrastructure through waqf institutions, as well as his efforts toward social justice and spiritual development. In addition, his work “Waqfiya” demonstrates the legal foundations and practical importance of waqf properties.
